Company History
The beginning of Utilities Supply can be traced back to 1962 when Don Denny Sr. began working in Birmingham, AL for McWane Cast Iron Pipe Company. Don Sr. worked with McWane for over five years before starting what became the original Utilities Supply in 1967 in Decatur, Ga. Along the way, Don Denny Jr. arrived and Utilities Supply soon grew into the family business. Prior to the beginning of the current Utilities Supply Inc. in 1990, the Dennys began other pipeline endeavors together in the 1970s. With the core value of customer service in mind, the Dennys believed that they could make a difference in the pipe, valve, and fittings industry and soon became a full-service supplier of water and gas products.
